WELCOME MESSAGE

It is with great pleasure that we announce Vision 2025, the 15th International Conference of the International Society for Low Vision Research and Rehabilitation (ISLRR), that will take place in Florence from September 8 to 12, 2025.

We believe Italy, especially Florence, one of the world’s most beautiful cities, is the perfect place for this important gathering. Here, we will combine warm hospitality with cutting-edge scientific innovation for a remarkable experience.

Vision 2025 will be led by three top Italian organizations in low vision research: the Low Vision Academy, PRISMA (Professionals for Low Vision Rehabilitation and Associated Diseases), and the National Center for Services and Research for the Prevention of Blindness and Rehabilitation of the Visually Impaired.

The conference is a great chance for professionals from different fields to share their progress, ideas, and innovations in dealing with visual impairments worldwide.

Save the date and get ready to join us for Vision 2025. We look forward to welcoming you and working together to create a brighter future for all individuals with visual disabilities.

See you soon, in the magical city of Florence!
